DANA is enhancing the EDI 204 Tender data requirements to better provide information you need to help plan your loads in the future. The EDI 204 changes will be released to Production in two phases Spring 2024. The release date and data segments are:
- Release Date: May 20, 2024
- Service Level
- Qty and UOM
- Distance
- Cancel Code
- Shipping/Receiving Window
- Equipment Type and Size
These are standard X12 data segments within the 204 Tender. All 204 messages beginning on the release date will be populated with this information as per the schedule listed above. You can get the technical specs for each data segment here Release NEO 3.8 for EDI 204.
- Unless we here from you, we will assume you are acknowledging you can support these changes by the dates listed above.
- If you cannot support these changes, it is critical you contact One Network and DANA as soon as possible.

Dana requires that all Carriers get connected to One Network’s Global Logistics Gateway (GLG), a web-based portal that will allow your company to collaborate with DANA through a standard web browser such as Chrome. This portal will allow your company to provide status updates, proof of delivery, and other documents. You can get started with the Carrier Onboarding Quick Guide here.

Once you have successfully onboarded with One Network, DANA will require timely and accurate milestone updates on all shipments.
